English Challenge!

Well, this semester I learned a lot of things… apart from the names of some of the classmates. The class was fun and let me practice this language of another way. For example, I never wrote an English Blog, just comments in some places and that was it all, and I never film a video to YouTube (and I will not do that again, I will delete all the videos because I scared that someday that see the daylight). I see this experience as something new, interesting and exciting! 

I think about the use of blogs and I think that is a useful tool, some people talks English so good, but then, they write in English and it’s a chaos! And exist the opposite of them, this class works well with the two kinds of people. The Blog’s use is a good way to improve our skills, like redaction, grammar and let the imagination fly, I learned about some topics that I didn’t know and let us learn about our classmates and their point of view. 

My Achilles heel is talk in public. My tongue gets entangled and I start to talk wrong, so, if I have something good to say, I say it wrong and it’s embarrassing. I think that I would make a pen pal to talk on the Internet, somebody in a chat and there I could practice and improve my English communication.

I use English all the days, when I try to understand the meaning of the English songs, and sometimes when I can’t wait to the translate of a chapter of a good book, I read it in English, when I need a recipe, when I want to write something that nobody has to read… 

English is important to me is useful and is beautiful. I wish could talk it fluently someday, and I think that day is closer than I think.

Thinking in the change.

Some things in our career can get better, for example, to include some classes that we can see the body’s reaction with some medicines, but not in the third or fourth year. Another thing could be that the teachers explain why we need that class because the people don’t care about it until it’s too late if we know the necessity, that could be our inspiration and we would more interested.

Our faculty, compared with another University’s faculties, has a lot of things to change: the library, the laboratory, even the picnic tables (because these look like that). Our library is too small and you can’t study quietly, some books that we really need aren’t here or just it’s one, how can you have only a book for more than two hundred students with this class jointly? That we must change; our laboratory has things too old, we can work with that, however, if you break something (an essay tube, a flask, a test tube), it’ll be a problem, because they have enough materials for every table, but not to change it. Last time, I needed the flask, but the person who uses the same box that I, leave it dirty and the stains didn’t go out. I couldn’t change it.

Well, talking about technology, our faculty is far yet. The machines are too expensive, and, before the use, the teachers and the technics must learn how it works, so, it’s a little far yet, it’s not impossible, but that changes need time. Maybe it wouldn’t be today or tomorrow, but, maybe someday.
